“People look at me and assume that I am dumb, because I can’t talk”.

This video touched me. It reminds us that there is something greater in all of us, and in this case, this young lady has had to struggle for her “inner voice” to be revealed. Please take a moment to watch the video, if you can. It is worth it.

  1. Thank you for sharing this I have seen Carly’s story before and I am not surprised that she is a smart beautiful human being with something to say. Autism can keep a person trapped inside with no way to reach our world. Until you work out how each individual chooses to communicate, life can be very lonely. My son is on the spectrum and he learns differently than others. Some days he prefers to stay in his own little world, but thankfully most days he wants to be with us. I am lucky he can express himself when things make him anxious or uncomfortable, he is a blessing and we would be lost without both our beautiful children, thanks again for sharing this inspiring story.
